- Half of a medium sized pineapple
- Vinegar - 3 tbsp
- Salt - 2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Sugar - 4 tbsp
- Green Chillies - 3 numbers
- Water as needed
Method:
- Slice pineapple to desired shape and sprinkle pepper powder and keep aside for 10mins.
- Boil water in a pan. When it comes to a vigorous boil, add pineapple slices.
- Add salt, sugar, and vinegar to the vigorously boiling water and simmer for few mins.
- Switch off the flame. Add slit green chillies and keep it covered for half an hour.
- Transfer the pieces first to a clean airtight jar followed by water.
