- Chicken - 200gm, Boneless
- Lemon - 1 big
- Soya Sauce - 1 tbsp + 1 tbsp
- Black Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
- Kashmiri Red Chilly Powder - 2 tsp
- Vinegar - 1 tsp
- Sugar - 1/8 tsp
- Egg - 1
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Spring Onion - 2 nos
- Corn Flour - 2 tsp
- Water - 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp
- Sesame Seeds - 1 tsp
- Oil - 1 tbsp + for frying
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Marinate chicken pieces with egg, soya sauce, black pepper powder, kashmiri red chilly powder, vinegar, salt.
- Heat oil for frying and deep fry chicken till golden brown.
- In a bowl, squeeze juice of one lemon, soya sauce, vinegar, sugar and mix well.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add finely chopped garlic. Saute for couple of minutes.
- Add the prepared juice-sauce mix to the pan along with water and stir well.
- Dilute cornstarch with 2 tbsp of water and stir into the pan.
- Add the fried chicken pieces when the gravy is thick.
- Cook for few more mins to coat on chicken pieces. Switch off the stove and garnish with sesame seeds.
