Aavoli Fry / Pomfret Fry

Ingredients:
  • Fish - 4 to 5 small pieces
  • Kashmiri Red Chilly Powder - 1 tbsp
  • Red Chilly Powder - 1 tsp
  • Crushed Red Chilly - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger - 1/4 tsp
  • Garlic - 1 to 2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Curry Leaves - 2 to 3 nos
  • Vinegar / Lemon Juice - 2 tbsp
  • Water as required
  • Salt to taste
Method:
  • Add all the listed marination items to the mixer jar and grind to a smooth paste adding no/little water.
  • Transfer to a bowl and adjust salt.
  • Marinate the fish pieces well with the prepared masala and keep aside for atleast half an hour.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the pieces on medium flame.
