Jowar Dosa

Ingredients:
  • Jowar Flour - 1 cup
  • Urad Dal - 1/4 cup
  • Fenugreek Seeds - 1 tsp
  • Cooked Rice - 1/2 to 3/4 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required
Method:
  • Wash and soak urad dal and fenugreek seeds for 1 hour. 
  • Strain dal and transfer to a mixer jar and grind to a smooth paste.
  • Further add jowar flour along with cooked rice. Grind to a smooth batter.

  • Add salt to taste.
  • Keep aside for fermentation for 8-10hours or overnight.
  • Mix fermented batter well.
  • Heat a tawa on medium heat. Drizzle water to check if tawa is hot.
  • Spread a ladleful of batter and smear some ghee on top of dosa after 30seconds.
  • Cook till done.
