Carrot Milkshake


Serves 2


Ingredients:
  • Carrot - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla Ice-cream - 1 scoop (Optional)
  • Chilled Milk - 1/2 to 3/4 cup  
  • Frozen Milk - 1 cup (Optional. If not using frozen milk, increase the quantity of chilled milk)
  • Cardamom Powder or Vanilla Essence - 1/2 tsp (Optional) 
  • Cashews - a few (Optional)
Method:
  • Roughly chop/grate carrots and add to a mixer jar. Add 1/4 cup chilled milk and pulse it for few times to get a smooth paste.

  • Add frozen milk, essence/cardamom powder and sugar as per taste. Blend everything well. 

  • Add rest of the chilled milk and blend. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • Transfer to a serving glass. Top it with nuts and a scoop of ice-cream.
