Konkani Style Phadi Kalleyli | Polya Phadi | Sweet Scrambled Coconut Dosa | Easy & Healthy Snack

Ingredients:
  • Raw Rice - 3/4 cup to 1 cup
  • Shredded Coconut - 1/4 cup + 1/2 cup
  • Jaggery Powder - 1/4 to 1/2 cup (as per sweetness level required)
  • Cardamom Powder - 1/2 to 1 tsp 
  • Cumin Seeds / Cumin Powder - 1 tsp (Optional) 
  • Salt a pinch
  • Water as required
Method:
  • Wash rice till water runs clear. Soak rice for 4hours or preferably overnight. Drain and keep aside when soaked.
  • Grind rice with 1/4 cup shredded coconut adding water gradually to a smooth batter. Add salt to taste and cumin powder. Mix well.
  • Heat a dosa tawa and make thin and soft dosas. Keep aside. Size of dosas doesn't matter as we will be tearing the dosas.
  • Mix powdered jaggery with 1/2 cup shredded coconut and cardamom powder in a bowl preferably with clean hand to make choornam. 

  • When the dosas are in room temperature, tear them to small pieces of random shapes and add to the choornam mixture in the bowl.
  • Give it a good mix to combine.    
  • Healthy snack phadi kalleyli is ready to serve.
