Unakkachemeen Fry / Dry Prawns Fry

Ingredients:
  • Dry Prawns - 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Red Chilly Flakes - 1 tbsp
  • Coconut Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Curry Leaves - one handful
Method:
  • Soak dry prawns in water for an hour or two.
  • Clean the prawns, by cutting the head and tail. Wash it in clean water and dry it for few mins.
  • Heat coconut oil in a pan and add the cleaned prawns.
  • Add salt and red chilli flakes to taste. Add half of the curry leaves.
  • Roast on medium flame for 10-15 mins until crispy.
  • Add the remaining curry leaves and switch off the stove.
