Jackfruit Balls

Ingredients:
  • Jackfruit bulbs - 6 to 7 big
  • Jaggery Powder/ Grated - 1 tbsp
  • Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Dry Ginger Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Shredded Coconut - 2 tbsp
  • Rice Flour - 1 tsp
  • Wheat Flour - 1 tbsp
  • Ghee (optional)
Method:
  • Mash jackfruit bulbs well using a fork or a mixer without adding water.
  • Add to a bowl.
  • Add cardamom powder, dry ginger powder, shredded coconut, jaggery powder and mix well to combine well using hands.
  • Further add rice flour and wheat flour and mix well. Balls formed should hold shape. 
  • Make small balls.  
  • Heat a paniyaram pan with ghee (optional). 
  • Add in the balls one by one and cook till golden and crispy by flipping occasionally. Maintain medium flame.
  • Enjoy hot.
