- Jackfruit bulbs - 6 to 7 big
- Jaggery Powder/ Grated - 1 tbsp
- Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Dry Ginger Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Shredded Coconut - 2 tbsp
- Rice Flour - 1 tsp
- Wheat Flour - 1 tbsp
- Ghee (optional)
Method:
- Mash jackfruit bulbs well using a fork or a mixer without adding water.
- Add to a bowl.
- Add cardamom powder, dry ginger powder, shredded coconut, jaggery powder and mix well to combine well using hands.
- Further add rice flour and wheat flour and mix well. Balls formed should hold shape.
- Make small balls.
- Heat a paniyaram pan with ghee (optional).
- Add in the balls one by one and cook till golden and crispy by flipping occasionally. Maintain medium flame.
- Enjoy hot.
