Methi Chapathi / ഉലുവ ഇല ചപാതി

Ingredients:
  • Methi leaves - 1 bunch
  • Red Chilly Powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
  • Wheat Flour / Atta - 2 cups
  • Water - 1 1/8 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
Method:
  • Wash and finely chop Methi leaves and transfer to a mixing bowl.
  • Add salt turmeric powder, red chilli powder and cumin powder. Mix well.
  • Add water to the mixing bowl along with oil.
  • Mix well.
  • Add atta to it and knead to a smooth dough like chapathi.
  • Keep aside for 15mins.
  • Pinch lemon sized dough balls and roll to a thin chapathi.
  • Heat tawa and cook on both sides by applying ghee/butter as preferred.
  • Serve hot with curd/pickle.
